Fees

Chirnside Park Speech Pathology is a private practice and fees apply for our services. 

The following is the current fee schedule (Effective August 2023)

Clinic Based Services- Speech Pathology
Initial Consultation 90 minutes (60 + 30): $290.99
Additional assessment session 70 minutes (50+20): $226.30
Therapy session 70 minutes (50+20) $226.30
Therapy session 35 mins (25+10) $113.17
* Time in brackets indicates duration of face to face session + non-contact time for planning/indirect client related tasks

​NDIS Services
Chirnside Park Speech Pathology are able to see clients who are self managing or have a plan manager agency managing their funds.
​We are unable to see clients whose funds are NDIA managed.

Reports
Additional charges apply if a written report is required, to cover the clinician's time. The fee will depend on the purpose of the report and amount of detail required (e.g. funding application, Autism diagnosis, detailed analysis of errors and specific goals)

Payment Methods
All accounts must be settled at the time of consultation. 
​Accepted payment methods are: cash or credit card only. We are unable to accept cheque or EFTPOS/debit cards.


Funding Options

Private Health Insurance​
Some private Health Fund extras cover speech pathology services, please check with your provider to determine your cover.

Medicare
Some clients may be eligible for a partial Medicare Rebate for up to 5 sessions per year under the Chronic Disease Management plan. Please note we do not bulk bill.  The Medicare website advises this plan is for those with a chronic medical condition defined as:
" one that has been, or is likely to be, present for at least 6 months"  and  "If you need treatment from 2 or more health professionals, your doctor may also put a Team Care Arrangement plan in place for you."
