Chirnside Park Speech Pathology is a private practice and fees apply for our services.
The following is the current fee schedule effective May 2017:
Clinic Based Services
Initial Consultation up to 1 hour: $165
Additional assessment session 1 hour: $140
Therapy session 45 minutes: $110
Therapy session 30 minutes: $80
By arrangement only. Travel fees may apply. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
These services incur an additional cost to cover processing fees by the administrator.
Initial Consultation up to 1 hour: $205
Additional assessment or therapy session 1 hour: $150
Therapy session 45 minutes: $120
NDIS Services (NDIA managed funds)
These services are billed directly to the NDIA, and require the clinician to complete additional administrative work outside of the session times. NDIS participants self-managing their funds pay the usual clinic based services rates above.
Initial Consultation up to 1 hour: $175.57
Therapy session 1 hour: $175.57
Additional charges apply if a written report is required, to cover the clinician's time. The fee will depend on the purpose of the report and amount of detail required (e.g. funding application, Autism diagnosis, detailed analysis of errors and specific goals)

All accounts must be settled at the time of consultation.
Accepted payment methods are: cash or credit card only. We are unable to accept cheque or Eftpos/debit cards.
Chirnside Park Speech Pathology is a registered provider for Therapeutic Supports under the NDIS.
Chirnside Park Speech Pathology provides services for children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder funded under the HCWA package, FaHCSIA funding.
Private Health Insurance
Some private Health Fund extras cover speech pathology services, please check with your provider to determine your cover.
Some clients may be eligible for a partial Medicare Rebate for up to 5 sessions per year under the Chronic Disease Management plan. The Medicare website advises this plan is for those with a chronic medical condition defined as:
" one that has been, or is likely to be, present for at least 6 months" and "If you need treatment from 2 or more health professionals, your doctor may also put a Team Care Arrangement plan in place for you."
